Part of the penile suspensory apparatus is in its ligamentous structure. The ligaments are part of what holds the penis in the body - that allows it to be statically flaccid and attached to the body and allowing it to remain attached to the body during the erectile state dynamics. The ligaments not only anchor the penis to the body but also limits the length of the penis in erection.
We will not enter the histology of the ligaments themselves, but we must be aware of the longitudinal structure fibers of these ligaments. In a healthy and normal ligament (disease free), the fibers of the ligaments are arranged in a matrix longitudinal fibers parallel and overlapping slightly downward course of the ligament.
When the ligament is under tension, stress, or traumatic sprain, these fibers tend to be oriented in a non-parallel and not longitudinally. That is, they become intertwined and they have provided to their original orientation. This leads to a decrease in the length of the ligament and decreases the amount of elasticity (which had little to begin with) in the ligament.
Reasons to achieve this structural change in the ligaments of the penis are numerous: excessive masturbation, trauma to the penis (such as going to a woman and hitting your skin instead of penetrating the vagina causing a sprain / Distention of the penis), and any other factors that can strain the penis or the imposition of a strain on your tissues.
This new staging of the fibers ligamental should be addressed to increase penis length normal, especially if a man wants to expand by stretching the ligaments. Soft and gentle stretching of the ligaments will help to realign the fibers and allow greater length, but also a manual approach is best used to help re-educate these fibers into alignment and restore proper length and elasticity of ligaments. This is done through manual labor ligament (s) with your fingers or a small object like a pencil eraser, to help break the cross-hatching and restore the structural function of the ligament itself.
